My Dear Linda,
Patty has kept me posted about your battle with cancer but this is the first time I have seen your blog. I love the pictures – they capture the beauty of you! You are an amazing person, Linda. I admire your strength and courage but most of all your tremendous faith in our Savior. I feel honored I got to meet you and I treasure the conversations we had. As Randy Pickel said, you are an inspiration! Linda, you continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. Love from your sister in Christ, Paula
Linda,
You are an amazing woman! A faithful child of God who listens so closely for her Shepherd’s voice and hangs onto His every word. Truly, I desperately want that for my own life. You have inspired me in the way you live your life, trusting the Lord in all things even when it was hard.
I was just thinking about how a visit to the grocery store is a much anticipated social outing for you! Linda, you never meet a stranger. That is why there are so many who know you and love you. Thankfully, I am blessed to be one of those many.
Thank you for remembering me and helping me find a home here at MOPS. You and your loving family are in my continual prayers….
Love,
Karen Aalund
Linda,
I don’t know if you remember me or not, I was great friends with Bret in the 6th grade through high school in Allen. I have reconnected with Bret over Facebook and he told me about your battle with cancer. I just felt like I needed to drop you a note and let you know that I am thinking about and praying for you. I hope that you can feel God’s love and the support of your friends and family to get you through this difficult time.

I really enjoyed cheering with Linda every week at all those inline hockey games. She had such a great sense of humor and sportsmanship! I looked forward to visiting with her and seeing her true love for Blake (he was the only child at the time!) I will always remember her great accent as well. Blessings to all of you, as well as hugs and prayers.

Linda was absolutely one of the kindest, dearest, and funniest people I have ever met! She will be missed!
Our family is praying for you!

I am so sorry to hear of your loss of wife and mother. I only had the honor of meeting Linda one time, but spending that one day with Linda and you Jim will forever stay in my heart. I feel so blessed to have been able to say that I did know her for even a short time. She is now in our Lords arms and free from pain. She will forever be looking down upon you and continue to guide you in your lives as she always has in your lives. Love never dies. You will forever have your guardian angel guiding you Jim, your daughter and her family and Bret and his family with the love only a mother and wife can.
John & my prayers are with you as the difficult times lay ahead.
